Tech Tuesday is the weekly open night at Hack Manhattan, a community hackerspace in the Union Square neighborhood of Manhattan. Do you love DIY? Do you want a space to create, collaborate, teach, and learn? This group is for anyone interested in starting a makerspace in the Pioneer Valley. We are trying to get a group of like-minded makers together to develop this further. We will try to book a spot to meet biweekly in South Hadley....it seems like a good central spot in the Pioneer Valley.

We'll talk about exciting startups and technologies in the internet of things, industrial internet, 3D printing, hardware and wearable computing areas. And of course we'll talk a lot about data (if you're interested in all things data, check out our other event, the NYC Data Business Meetup).

The group is for people with multiple interests in areas like robotics, gadgets controlled by mobile devices, building models in science and technology, creating videos, etc. with a strong sense of art and design.

We are an association of Makers in lower Fairfield County Connecticut who come together to work on projects of mutual interest and share our knowledge within the group and also with the local community. Our short term goal is also acquire a space where tools and project materials may be stored and used by members and guests.
