We are a "hackerspace", a colloquial term for a group of people who gather together in order to DIY technology and art, exchange knowledge, and pool together resources and tools. Members have access to 3d printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, woodworking tools, computers, etc.

The Gray Area: Creative Code Meetup is an ongoing platform for the Bay Area Creative industry and technology industry to present their work. We will gather together every month to update one another on our progress. We hope that the meetup will encourage and nurture unforeseen collaborations between like-minded individuals. This group is for anyone who likes to build things with electronics, learn about it, share knowledge and help each others in their hobby projects. I am not electronics engineer but just started learning about Arduino microcontroller and got interested in that area. I saw some you tube videos and was amazed by some of the things people created in their free time. It might be fun to do things together and learn.
Beginner to advanced classes in electronics and robotics for kids (and their parents). Get your kids (K-12) going with our very hands on classes geared towards technology in robotics and electronics.
This is a Member-based Workshop where designers and trades people to come to create, explore, learn and launch their ideas. Raspberry Pi hackers, users and dreamers! Show off your projects, and meet other enthusiasts in the Contra Costa area. We meet on the first Thursday of the month from 7:30 to 10PM. We meet at Diablo Valley College in room L 106. We don't have hackerspace with solder stations, 3d printers etc. but if the group gets large enough we can make this happen.
